Unlike their competitors from other countries, the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Snowboarding receive NO government funding. Private donations and sponsorships fully fund the training, equipment and travel needs of the entire Team – making a targeted direct marketing program particularly important.

Warfield & Walsh was hired by the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team Foundation in 1999 to build an expansive new direct marketing program in the lead up to the 2002 Winter Olympics.

After those successful Winter games, Warfield & Walsh continued to help the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Snowboarding achieve remarkable success in their direct marketing efforts. We helped steer the Team toward new sources for potential donors, and introduced popular and creative winter-related premiums such as fleece vests and blankets, baseball caps, knit hats, and sweatshirts and long-sleeved tees, in addition to popular baseball caps and training t-shirts.
